The Dashboard is your main point of contact within the e-Portal Platform. It has four sections: header, navigation, file counts, and the content area.

Dashboard & Header
The header provides you with access to your notifications and your profile. Notifications are represented by the bell icon, and your profile is denoted by the face icon.
tip
To access your notifications, move the mouse up to the bell (🔔) icon and click it.
This will display a list of notifications and the associated file.
Your profile shows the options available to you. You can:
- update your profile,
- adjust application settings,
- view your current storage,
- change your profile picture,
- change your password and
- exit the system.
Your profile determines whether the platform will recognise you as an agent or as an applicant. Remember that an agent submits applications on behalf of an applicant and is authorised to represent an applicant. We will go into more detail about the profile below.
File Count
The file count section provides you with the total number of drafts, files and invoices you have access to within your account. This represents only active files and is updated when you create or delete drafts, files and invoices. This view is only shown on your dashboard
Content Area
The content area shows a small list of the number of applications you have available to you. These applications may be draft applications, existing files and messages between and the department. You can change the number of applications shown here by changing it within your settings.
Navigation
The ePortal Platform features a main side navigation bar. The bar is located on the left side and has several options:
- Dashboard: Takes you to your main screen
- Files: Allows you to access all the applications that have been submitted to the department.
- Drafts: Stores applications not yet submitted to the department. Applications undergoing vetting are also here
- Forms: Provides access to all the forms the ePortal supports.
- Invoices: View all the invoices you have ever submitted/paid to EZPay+
- Register: Browse or search the scanned or electronic registers.

My Profile
Within this section you can change edit your name and contact information.
You may also edit the type of Account you have. You have the option to change between any of the following:
- Applicant: General application submission. On all forms, your information will automatically be entered into the applicant section.
- Agent: Facilitates general application submission. On all forms, your information will automatically be entered into the agent section.
- Financial: Does not allow submission of any applications. More details coming soon.
tip
By updating or changing your profile, forms will automatically be completed with the information you provide here. This saves you time when submitting your application.
Application Settings
Within applications settings, you can determine the number of records that are shown on your dashboard. The default number of drafts, files and messages is 5. This can be changed for each item. You may also set the default display mode of your applications between list and table mode. You may also want to set whether you want to be notified for all correspondence from draft or filed applications. And finally, you can specify the default maximum number of rows for the table mode setting. You may set the default number of records that appear in any table.
Storage
You can monitor the storage associated with your account by selecting the storage options within your profile. Each user has 100MB of space to be used for the storing of documents associated with draft applications. However, documents stored here will be removed after 30 days if they have not been submitted for review. Drafts that have been reviewed, paid for, or submitted, will be automatically stored within the department's main storage and removed from this location.
info
Storage Document storage time affects the vetting process. Submit forms early to ensure that your application is properly assessed. Any application sent after the 30 days will have its documents removed regardless of it being assessed, vetted or invoice generated.
tip
Form Submission Submit your applications at least 2 weeks before they are due to expire. You can see the length of time remaining within the uploads section of an application.
tip
Expired Files If your files will be expiring soon, before submitting, upload them again. This will grant you another 30 days per file.
Profile Picture
