Quick Starts
Location​
The Quick Starts section is located on the dashboard, on the right side of page. It contains, links to five (5) sections of the ePortal:
- Create an Application,
- Application Status,
- Monitor File,
- Register Company,
- Join Business (Company).

These options above, allow users to quickly access key areas of the platform.
Create an Application​
This link loads a pop-up menu, as seen below, which allows users to select one of the four main applications (Formal, Chattel, Permitted Development, Permission to Kill Tree).
Application Status​
The application status allows any user to check the status of an existing application. To do this, you must already know the reference (application) number of that specific application.

You are not required to be the owner of any application to check on its status. This is a service provided by the Department via its registers.
Monitor File​
This link allows you to add a file to the list of files to be monitored by you. This requires you to be owner/applicant/agent of the file to be added.

Adding a file​
- Click on the Monitor File link.
- In the pop-up box, Enter the reference number of the file.
- Enter the receipt number of the application. For Government and NGOs, you are asked to contact the Department to request an application code.
- Click OK to confirm the addition of the file.
