📄️ FormsWith the ePortal, users have all access to the services offered by the Planning and Development Department. These services include form submission and the platform allows you to submit three (3) types of forms:
📄️ Creating a FormThe process of form submission has been made simple. Users only need click on the Forms button in the side navigation and select the desired form.
📄️ Viewing and Processing DraftsDrafts are files, which are awaiting submission to the department. Any form created and saved automatically becomes a draft. Drafts allow users to do the following:
📄️ Application VettingAfter you have completed the form and upload the necessary files, you are ready to submit the draft to be vetted by the planning officer.
📄️ CommunicationsThe ePortal was designed to allow you access to the department regardless of timezones and location. Therefore, it has to provide a means of a communication system between you and the department.
📄️ Electronic SigningThe department requires that some of our forms be signed prior to submission. To accommodate this, we facilitate the electronic signing of those forms. Some of the forms that require a signature are, but not limited to:
📄️ InvoiceThe Department has partnered with EZPay+ to facilitate online payment processing. We also recognise, the application may not be paid by you and be done by a client. We therefore have established with EZPay+ to allow users to generate an invoice to be paid by your account or any another account.
📄️ AmendmentsTo ensure that users have a positive outcome concerning their planning applications, the Department allows for the physical alteration of some forms after submission. It is expected, with this online process, that this practice will be retained in the digital environment.
