Amendments

To ensure that users have a positive outcome concerning their planning applications, the Department allows for the physical alteration of some forms after submission. It is expected, with this online process, that this practice will be retained in the digital environment.

The ePortal allows for users to amend any application pending a decision to be altered as needed.

Requirements

To alter an application certain prerequisites must first be determined.

  • Users must already have access to the application within their Files section. You may only edit applications that you have ownership.
  • The application must not carry a decision or any other status other than Submitted. Applications with decisions cannot be altered.
  • The email address of the planning officer processing your application.

Altering an Application

  1. Select the application to be altered.
  2. Click on the Amend Form menu option on the right.
  3. Edit the form as directed or as necessary.
  4. Click on the Sign button (Sign Icon).
  5. In the pop-window that appears, apply your signature as outline before Electronic Signing. Note, that this process has 4 steps instead of 3. Complete as indicated and on the 3rd step, enter the email address of the planning officer, who will be processing your applications.
  6. Click the sign button to submit the amended form.
