Communications

The ePortal was designed to allow you access to the department regardless of timezones and location. Therefore, it has to provide a means of a communication system between you and the department.

Starting a Conversation​

Whenever you create a Draft, you gain the ability to communicate with a dedicated planning officer about the contents of that draft. To initiate a conversation:

  1. From within your draft, click on Messages within the Draft Menu.
  2. Click on the + Message button. A new dialog box will appear.
  3. Type the comment/question within the pop up.
  4. Click the Send button.

Viewing Messages​

The Messages page allows you to view not only direct communication between you and the office, but also messages or updates from the system as well.

Whenever a message is sent to you, a notification will be sent to the email address associated with the account alerting you that you have received an update. All emails from the ePortal will be from noreply@planning.gov.bb. We encourage you to not reply to this email address.
